Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Helen, Jeff, Chris and Family, Even though I never met Jimmy, Vic has shared many memories with me of his brother. All of you will be in my thoughts and prayers through days ahead.

  2. The world is a much smaller place today, but the heavens have gained another brilliant star. Jimmy will live in my heart forever. Love to you all,

  3. Dear Helen and Jimmy’s family, What a shock. I am so very sorry for your loss. What wonderful neighbors you have been on our tiny little courtyard. We will help you get through this. Patty

  4. Jimmy was my roommate at the Sigma Nu House for five semesters. I will miss him. The memories and happy times we shared will live in my heart forever. Deepest Sympathy and Condolences on your loss.

  5. Jimmy was my neighbor growing up. We were even closer than best friends; more like brothers. I always loved the family as my relatives and still do. We were so close that people in town thought we were cousins. We grew up together and though we didn’t talk much in recent years, I never lost the love and respect I had for him. I have so many great memories which I will always cherish. I will miss him. We love you all and our prayers are with the entire family. John Arthur

  6. Jimmy was my friend throughout high school and was my fraternity brother in college. Besides all the many happy times during those years, I will always remember the night at the Sigma Nu house when I got the call that my father had unexpectedly passed away. One of my mothers Brandon friends arranged for the Mississippi Highway Patrol to get me home immediately. And Jimmy accompanied me the whole way that night with his arm around my shoulder. Although I havent seen him much in the intervening years, its memories like this that never fade.

  7. We have know Jimmy for many years and are truly saddened by his loss. Love to all his family during this sad time. We will miss Jimmy dearly. Love Jean and Dean

  8. Helen, Sending our deepest sympathy and love to you and your family. We’re so thankful that Jimmy was able to experience Deer Valley with family this Spring. “Though many tears and smiles may come between us, there’s a memory of a time that never ends. As the days drift slowly by, ‘neath the Pennsylvania sky, I’m singing at Deer Valley with my friends.”

  9. I enjoyed playing golf and discussing world events with Jimmy. He called it like he saw it. He will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends.

  10. For Jimmy’s Family ~ I’ve known Jimmy since the AA&Co days. He was an amazing person and someone who made everyone the better for having known him. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  11. Dear Helen, He didn’t know it, but Jimmy was a mentor to me. I always appreciated his candor and focus. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

  12. Helen and Family Betty and I are deeply saddened to hear about Jimmy. I will never forget Jimmy’s laugh–it is embellished into my mind for perpetuity. Our best to all of you at this time of sadness. Mac and Betty MacKnight

  13. I was a fraternity brother of Jimmy’s at Ole Miss. Initially I wasn’t too crazy about him as he was the house manager when I was a pledge. Back then the pledges had to clean up the fraternity house even after parties following football games. Jimmy was the one cracking the whip and, naturally, not too popular with us pledges. It didn’t take long though to get to know him and realize what a great guy he was. I enjoyed knowing him and I’m very sorry for your loss.

  14. Last Thursday I ran into an old friend at the Tower Club that informed me that Jimmy had passed away. I can’t tell you how sorry I was to hear that news. It had been in my mind to call Jimmy for the passed couple of months but regretably,I didn’t pick up the phone. I have know Jimmy for i guess almost 30 years, all of which I don’t think we ever had a cross word between us. It was always fun to play golf and run into Jimmy at the Pub, he will be missed.
