James Jablonski

James Jablonski, aged 50, left us on June 1, 2024 with his family by his side in Vienna, Va.
He was born on May 20, 1974, in Warsaw, Poland, and later moved to the United States at a
young age. After graduating high school as valedictorian, he pursued higher education at Johns
Hopkins for college and Georgetown University for law school. He was a devoted attorney for
the National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation.
James was also a man of diverse interests and talents. He enjoyed sports, specifically,
basketball, soccer and sumo wrestling. His multilingual abilities showcased his intellectual
curiosity and love for different cultures. He traveled to many countries for experiences in food,
history and world cups. He was an avid reader and loved Russian literature, reading War and
Peace four times. He had a passion for house music, which he DJ’ed for many years at a club in
Baltimore. His openness for new adventures along with a wonderful sense of humor endeared
him to many.
James is survived by his parents, Marek and Renata Jablonski, his brother and sister-in-law,
Sebastian Jablonski and Lisa Yeh, and his wife, Hajime Rojas.
