James L. Sollinger, Age 55, died on June 20, 2014 at his home in Vienna, VA. Jim was, at various stages in his life, an Eagle Scout, a Fireman, a White Water Kayak Instructor and Guide, a pilot, a Foreign Service Officer, a mentor , a teacher, a son, a brother, a husband, and a father. Beloved husband of Christine Sollinger; father of Marc and Matt Sollinger; son of Willard Sollinger and the late Rosemary Sollinger; brother of Nancy Sollinger, Janet Sollinger, John Sollinger, Mary Applegate (Dave) and son-in-law of Dr. Richard and Linda Williams.
Memorial Services will be held at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, 9750 Meadowlark Gardens Court, Vienna VA on Wednesday, July 2 at noon. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Jim to MychaisMessage.org
