Praise God and we rejoice with you that you know that mom/grandmother Rogers is worshiping her Lord right now and doing it in complete health! We pray for you all as you remember her and take your next steps without her. Our prayers and love are with you! Love, The Caldwell Family
May God bless and comfort you in the promise of the new heavens and new earth through the resurrection of Jesus from the dead.
Grandma: we love you and miss you Becky Mike Beau Donovan
Jane’s life was one of living for and serving the Lord. There is no better statement to make about anyone’s life! She touched so many lives in His name in so many ways. In my case, if not for Jane, I’d have abandoned teaching as my previous experience with teaching had ended negatively, with my vowing never to teach again. Then Jane came into my life, offered me a teaching position for one month, as she put it, “on a trial basis.” I stayed in her employ for eighteen years and have been teaching ever since in some capacity. The most joyous of my teaching days were those I spent at Tara School. Jane was the primary reason for that joy. May God hold Jane in the palm of His hand, even as this world is a darker place without her.
I remember Jane Rogers as a very talented lady with a great sense of humor. She was blessed with a beautiful singing voice and at one time she was the choir director of our church. It was Jane who made sure that we had a wonderful new organ for our church. I will miss her dearly. One of my final memories of Jane was her reciting the 23rd psalm for my husband and I. It was a blessing to hear.
Jane invited me to church where I met Jesus. I am ever thankful to her and to God for her.
We miss you, Grandma. We’re glad we got to live next door to you all these years. We enjoyed visiting with you and wish we could give you one last hug and kiss. We’re glad you’re in a better place.
Dear Rogers Family, We are praying for all of you during this difficult time of losing your dear Mother and Grandmother. She was a Godly woman. Praise God that she is now with her Saviour rejoicing with all the other saints! Love and Prayers, The Van Tuyl family
Jane Rogers was one of the most amazing people – and always gave of herself to others without question. She touched SO many lives and what she taught us all will live on through our children! Samantha, Victoria, Margaret and Harry Stevens
Bill’s Grandmother Rogers was a woman of conviction and she lived her life true to her beliefs. I respect her for that and hope to teach her great-granddaughter to live strong as Jane Rogers did. She also had a great wit, and you left a visit with her knowing that she would have the last laugh.
The world was truly blessed to have had Ross and Jane Rogers. Their lives of following and serving Christ are an inspiration, and I am a much better person for having had them in my life. Heaven’s a happier and funnier place now, and I look forward to seeing them again there.
Col. and Mrs. Rogers exemplified a life for God, family, and country. They shared their time, talents, and treasures affecting many lives – including mine. I can only imagine the celebration that must be going on in heaven, and the joy Mrs. Rogers is feeling as she hears, “Well done good and faithful servant.” I am praying for the whole family as you experience your loss.
We can only imagine the great number of souls that have been and will be saved because of the love and faithfulness of Ross and Jane Rogers. It is evidenced in the words written in these memorials and in the lives of their progeny. Jane’s strength and joy will live long in our memories!
I will always be thankful for Jane and her wisdom. She helped me understand how the Lord works in my life. It is because of her that I am a teacher and love it. Thank you Jane. May you enjoy all that heaven has to offer. Love, Jayne
I remember many things about Mrs. Rogers, more than I can share here. But here are a few memories that have stuck all these years. I remember her desire to offer her dear friend’s daughter, Nikki, a chance to experience life in the U.S. I had the privilege of spending a lot of time with Nikki at Mrs. Rogers house and at my house. Mrs. Rogers was also the first to offer me a job, right out of college, to teach at Tara School. She gave me the chance to discover what it was like to lead a classroom, and I will never forget her encouragement that first year. I loved her and am thankful she is now with my Savior, and hopefully visiting my mother.
