JaNell Cook of Arlington, Virginia passed away August 17, 2022 with her loving family at her side. She was predeceased by her late husband Charles F. Cook, Jr. (1927 – 1987). She is survived by three sons, Byron L. Cook, David M. Cook, and Philip C. Cook and two granddaughters Sarah Cook and Alison Cook.
Born in New Mexico and raised in Tropic, Utah to Malen and Sara Littlefield with a surviving brother Steve Littlefield.
Hillfield Air force Base is where she met her husband. They were married in Layton, Utah and moved to Denver, Colorado where Chuck finished his law degree. Afterwards, they moved to Arlington and have stayed since.
Jan was an avid traveler. With her friend Marion McKinney, they travel across Europe and Egypt.
Jan’s family is planning to host a celebration of her life at Walker Chapel United Methodist Church, 4102 North Glebe Road, Arlington, VA 22207 on Wednesday August 24, 2022 at 11:00am.
