Jeannie ws my sister that I never had. We have been best friends for 53 years. Growing up together on Roxborough Road, Rochester, NY. We shared all our dreams, and disapointments, all our laughter, and tears, much more laughter than tears. I look foundly on our “growing up years” but will cherish the years that we shared in our motherhood. What a great time that was. We both thought of easch other when ever we listen to the song “Wind beneath my Wings”. Eric Clapton and BB King did a CD toether. It wsa a birthday gift to Jeannie from me several years ago. Song number 10 says it the best. “I’ll Love you come Rain or Come Shine”. I’ll be the Keeper of the stories to share for Michael and Tina.

Dear Harvey, Michael and Tina, It has been almost a week since this terrible tragedy has happened. We are all still in shock and disbelief. What remains now are our many great memories of all of us together with Jeanne over many years. These memories will endear forever. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Jeanne has been a special friend and we will miss her dearly.
We fondly remember Jeanne very well, and some of the family gatherings and dinners we shared with Jeanne and later Harve. This tragic accident has us all here in tears. Please know that you are all in our prayers here, but especially those of you we knew well…Denny, Elaine and Floyd. Harley, Marian, Richard, Barb and Darren Dixon.
We are holding you in our hearts for the next few days. Just know that we are with you in spirit. I so enjoyed spending time with your Mom. She has a gentle loving spirit that lives on. She came in to the library last Friday and hugged me. It was so obvious she loved you deeply and she was so proud of you. I will remember her with great fondness
Harvey, So sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Sincerely, Pat Wolfe
Hi, Tina, I’s so sorry for the lost of your mother. I did not get to met her, but I bet she was as beautiful as you are and sweet and kind hearted as well. I do miss you at work, your kind sleepy smiley face in the morning. Just wanted to let you know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I know it’s hard, but try to be strong. God Bless you all. I will always be there for you when and if you ever need a friend. Sincerely, Grace A. Wilson A Friend from Iyanbito, New Mexico.

Dear Harvey, We went to high school together at JMHS (class of 64). You knew me as Eileen Vanderweel. I read of this tragedy and wanted to express my sympathy. It was very heartwarming reconnecting with our former schoolmates while planning our 40th class reunion and I try to contact anyone from our class when I can. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Sincerely, Eileen
Mr. Cotter, Michael and Tina, I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. Your Mom was such an amazing and beautiful person. Even though I was just the babysitter, she made me feel like part of the family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
We were shocked and saddened to learn of Jeanne’s tragic death. Her joyful spirit will always remain with us. We shared many happy times when our families were young. We trust those happy memories will be a great comfort to those she loved so much.
