Jeff passed away peacefully on July 22, 2020 at the age of 64. He is survived by his loving family: son Conner, sister Linda, and brother Mark.

Jeff was born in Manhattan and moved out to the Berkshires in 1965. He attended Mt. Everett, Monument Mountain Regional High, and Simons Rock College. He enjoyed spending time skiing and would race to a nearby slope every afternoon.

After college, Jeff joined the Navy and served in the Gulf War. He started off as a communications officer and then became a nuclear engineer on the USS Nimitz. Jeff was decorated and honorably discharged after a decade of service.

Jeff then served as nuclear power plant advisor for new plants in United Kingdom and other countries abroad. When he returned to the US, he worked briefly in New York but eventually relocated to the Washington DC area.

Here, Jeff began by working at US Customs. He was a key leader in the organization helping to implement new systems after 9/11. He transitioned into the private sector and worked for several large Defense Contractors. He became an expert at Systems Architecture, receiving multiple awards and certifications and he worked on several vitally important projects.

Outside of his career, Jeff loved spending time with his son and his favorite hobby was golf. He was an expert handy-man and he could build a house from the ground up. He was comical and caring, serious and sincere, lively and loving. In short, Jeff was an outstanding man who made the world a better place.

Jeff was buried on 08/07/2020 in the Quantico National Cemetery in Virginia. The link below is the recording of the event.
