My Heart and prayers go out to the entire Donnelly family and all of his loved ones and friends. Jeff was a good friend to me throughout the years. He will be missed. God Speed Jeff.
My heart hurt’s for Vienna, for we lost one of the best. But if your from Vienna, you know you are also one of the best. I can’t express the saddness that all of Vienna hold’s for the Donnelly family. If there is truth in the word ” strength “, the Donnelly family picture should be beside the word in the dictionary!
I could not possibly be more saddened by the news of Jeff’s passing. It seems as though it were yesterday that we were talking, joking & planning to get together “soon.” Well, that nebulous “soon” will never happen now & I deeply regret that. That is the harsh lesson that I will take away from this. What I liked most about Jeff was that he was so sincere & earnest and, you always knew that if he said it, he meant it!! I am so sorry that I am too far away to make the journey home for his interrment but, I will come visit him in the Spring. Now, off into the light with you, Jeff, where I know that God will grant your restless soul eternal peace! It’s where I hope to find myself someday, as well. Until we meet again…..
We were friends since kindergarten
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Donnelly family. I’ve officiated youth football with Jeff for years and was shocked to say the least to hear about his passing. May god bless you Jeff and rest in peace my friend.

My dear friend Howie We were inseparable, the Saturday nights at South Pacific talking and Laughing until our stomachs would bust with Rita and Micki! Playing tennis four times a week for six packs. Thank God you didn’t have to drive I always did as you my dear friend were the worst driver ever! We must of hit every curb in Fairfax County when you drove. I love you like a brother and always will! Until we meet again Howie I will miss you and always hold a place in my heart for you! It has been a privilege to know all of tht Donnelly family! Love you Mongo!

We knew you for such a short time, but your kind demeanor, quiet spirit, and sincere encouragement was always appreciated. You will be missed. Our prayers for those you left behind.
You will always be my Bodine. I can’t wear white jeans without remembering when we were both in white jeans and we won the dance contest at P.J. Skidoo – nor can I hear the song Back in Black without thinking of you & your Firebird – so many fond memories of you. May you be at peace and know you touched so many hearts.
Jeff…you always put a bright smile on my face. You were funny, kind, loving and helped me when in need. You hired my son when he and I needed help and for those acts of kindness, I will always have a special place for you. To your family, Rachel and Patricia, my sincere sympathy for your loss. No matter what road Jeff traveled, he had a great heart and affection for his daughter, friends and family. Rest in Peace…
My sincere condolences and prayers go out to the Donnelly family in their time of grief. Jeff was one of my closest friends for about 40 years. We had the best of times together, we argued from time to time as friends do but the good far outweighed the bad, and in the end our friendship remained strong.I have lost an old friend. Vienna has lost a guy who really loved people in general including all those that came to the family store. He coached Vienna’s kids with passion and truly enjoyed every minute of it. More importantly though, Jeff’s siblings lost their brother, and his beautiful daughter Rachel lost her dad. His stepson Jeremy his stepdad.Rita, her husband for many years, but the biggest loss in my eyes is that his wonderful mom lost her son she raised with so much love as only moms can do. I know Jeff cherished her deeply because he expressed this to me so often. For that loss, there are no words. R.I.P. Jeff, I love you brother. Until we meet again….
My heart is heavy with sorrow for the Donnelly Family. No parent should have to bury their child no matter the age. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.
Will miss Jeff on the tennis courts… My condolences!
JoAnn and the Donnelly family – I am thinking of you and sending my love. A life gone too soon who will be missed by many. Jeff, may you be at peace.
