My sincere condolences go out to Tony’s family. Talk about someone experiencing too much suffering and being way too young to leave this earth. I remember him from High School and the years after. I will never forget him. I am so sorry. He’s in a better place now.
Tony was great friend to many of us, and the news of his passing saddens us all. What is not sad; however, are the many memories we have of him. His quick smile, his great enthusiasm for his friends, and his ability to endear everyone with his presence is a blessing he leaves us. I speak of us, because we (his Madison High School friends) were a close group, who lived, laughed, and loved together. And Tony was important to it all. Although I have not seen him for many, many years, these memories will be with me for the rest of my, and our, lives. Our sympathy and deep respect to his family. Know that our love and thoughts are with Tony and you.
To the Wood family: Mike and I were so blessed to be Anthony’s Godparents. We held him in our arms as he was baptized. He grew up to be a fine young and brave man. He left this earth too soon but his extraordinary battle with cancer leads us to believe he has earned a place in Heaven. God rest his soul. Mike, Helen and all the Colombo family.
To the Wood Family: Anthony’s courage and faith was an inspiration to all of us. He is now free from pain and in the arms of the Lord. May his soul rest in peace. Bill, Rita Ann & all the Habacivich family.
