John William Eaton

John William Eaton of Vienna, VA, passed away peacefully on Oct. 29, 2024. He was surrounded by family members including his beloved wife of 67 years, Nancy Joan Eaton.

Born in Blountville, TN, John proudly served in the U.S. Army before a career that included working for Boeing, Westinghouse and, most recently, ManTech International.

John’s ever present sense of humor always put people at ease. He could repair anything that was ever broken, and enjoyed talking about sailing, military history, and most often – his love of his family.

John is survived by his wife Nancy Joan; son William Anthony Eaton; son John Mark Eaton; daughter-in law Malisa; daughter-in-law Karla, and grandchildren Justin, Maxwell, Hannah and Lilyanne. He is also survived by one brother, Bobby Mack Eaton , Sr.

He was preceded in death by his parents Arbon Eaton and Mary Ellen Utsman, and his brothers Donald Eaton and Gary Wayne Eaton.

A visitation will be held on November 7, from 6 – 8 pm, at Money & King Funeral Home in Vienna, VA. Burial will take place in Bristol, TN, in the family plot, at a future date.
