Mary and I were sadden to her about the death of Jo Nunnenkamp. We will cherish the memories of both Jo and Herb as they were a great couple and devoted contributors of many community activities. Our sympathy and prayers go out to the family.
Dear Nunnenkamp/Vidiri Family: We were so sorry to hear about Josephine. SHE was a very special lady to us and we will treasure the handknitted baby blanket she made for Alessandro along with other things she made for us. She truly gave of herself to others and we will cherish all the time we spent with her…especially at Giovanna’s party recently. She was always a pleasure to be around. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Louis, Sandra and Alessandro Cinelli
I WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO THE WHOLE FAMILY FOR THE LOSS OF A GREAT LADY. I HAVE KNOWN HER FOR A LONG TIME, THROUGH THE SONS OF ITALY, AND SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN A VERY SWEET AND LOVABLE PERSON, VERY ITALIAN. WE’LL MISS HER VERY MUCH AT THE UPCOMING CONVENTION; IT’S A SHAME SHE DID NOT LAST LONG ENOUGH TO FINISH HER TERM AS PRESIDENT, BUT, I AM SURE, SHE’LL BE WATCHING US FROM THE BETTER PLACE SHE WENT TO. I AM HONORED THAT I WAS ASKED TO SING AT HER FUNERAL AND I AM SURE SHE WILL BE HAPPY FOR THAT. AGAIN, MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY, TONY TORCHIA
We were saddened to hear of Jo’s passing. We knew Herb and Jo through the Italian Heritage Lodge. They both worked so hard to keep the lodge vital and interesting. Josephine was so proud to serve as state president, and did a fantastic job in that capacity. Her presence will be sorely missed as is Herb’s enduring memory. Art and Gloria Moscatello
It seems too soon that this lovely, vibrant lady take her leave of us. Jo and Herb used to readily come to the Leewood Adult Daycare and help when we would have our Italian celebration. Jo would make pizzelles and Herb would help her. They would also set up bocci ball and the seniors at the center just loved it. What a pair! My sincerest condolences to her family. May our Lord impart to each of you the special peace that surpasses all understanding. Donna Maglione
We were sorry to hear of Josephine’s death. Our sincere condolences to the family. Leo & Nina Cinelli
