We knew Judy for many years, as the Knox family lived next door to us. We enjoyed watching their four daughters grow up. Judy’s kindness was expressed in many ways. We especially remember her thoughtfulness in coming to our house to share in our grief when one of our dogs died. We express our sincere condolences and love to Richard and all four daughters and their families.
Judy is my loving aunt and godmother. Is always. And always I will cherish your loving kindness, your beauty, your humor, and your spirit. My thoughts and prayers are with Uncle Richard, Laura, Linda, Susan, and Heather and all of your ‘grand gals’. Love to you all, Judi Jones

Diana and I are saddened by Judy’s passing and praying for comfort for all her loved ones.
My family and I are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. Knox. She was absolutely the best teacher. Both my children were fortunate to have been taught by her at Appletree. I will carry many memories that I had with her during many field trips and events. She was an amazing influence in my Children’s lives. She would remind ‘Dont’ rest or you’ll rust’, ‘Keep your desks clean’, ‘Be honest’. Who can forget her?! While we mourn her loss, I feel blessed and honored that she was part of my Children’s lives. Mrs. Knox – YOU ARE THE BEST TEACHER!! We love & miss you!!
I’ve had the blessing of being taught by Mrs. Knox for three school years from 2005 through 2008, when she taught 3rd through 5th grade. There were many amazing memories had and many valuable things learned during that time. My grandfather and aunt- my parental figures- were both very fond of her. Even after I started going to my new school, we occasionally came back and visited, and she was always one of the ones we talked with; she’d always be delighted to see us and ask us how life is going. She was one of the kindest souls I’ve ever met and one of the most influential and impactful people for me in my many years at Appletree. I will miss her deeply. Best wishes and prayers for the Knox family.
I was so sorry to hear of Judy’s passing. She and Richard and girls were my neighbors for many years. A wonderful family. Judy was so kind to me when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had survived breast cancer and she did all she could to comfort me. God Bless you and the girls Richard.
What a trying time it must be for you! Judy and I only talked a couple of times a year but it was amazing that we just seemed to pick up where we left off from the previous conversation. She was a friend as well as my cousin although we hadn’t seen each other in many years. Please accept my sympathy and know that I have been praying for comfort for you at this sad time. God be with you.
A candle was lit for the decedent.
Judy….I named her “My American mother”. She took me in her house and in her heart, when I was a 18 year old young woman. I worked at Camp Tapawingo and became friends with her daughter Laura. I came from the Netherlands, but in the weekends Judy and her family took care of me. I felt really beloved by them all. Unfortunately I lost the contact. Today I am on Google trying to find Judy, Laura, Linda, Susan, Heather and Richard. To my sadness I read the sad news that Judy passed away 3.5 years ago. I am to late…..? From the Netherlands I still want to express my condolences and hope that all of you are doing well. Take good care of yourself and each other and who knows, one time we will meet again. Love, Nathalie
