Mrs. O’Hara is the reason teenagers get up every morning and go to school, because they know they will be greeted with her smiling face and good cheer at 8am home room. There are only a few individuals in life who truly lead by example and inspire others to follow in their footsteps. Mrs. O’Hara is one of those individuals who impacted my life during those tumultuous teenage years and I am forever thankful and honored to have been one of her students.
Judy was an inspiration to all of us. She always showed incredible strength and courage. Our hearts go out to the entire O’Hara Family. You are in our thoughts and prayers…JT & Lynden

Judy was a wonderful friend to me and to my daughter, Elizabeth, at Potomac. It was clear that she loved to work with young people and, as my daughter’s advisor, she helped steer her through the trials and tributions of adolescence. I will always remember her kindness, generosity and optimism. Both Elizabeth and I send our love and heartfelt condolences to her family. How lucky we all were to have her in our lives.
Barbara & I wish to express our condolences , She was a good woman who is watching us from heaven now
We all have enjoyed the wonderful smile and joy that Judy offered everytime we were with her – for Bud and Austin we remember her beginning from the early days when Michelle and Austin attended Potomac together and for Lisa,Will and Zachary, Mrs O’Hara, the very special librarian. We will greatly miss her but we feel blessed to have known her.

Dear Mike and Michelle, How sad Mom, Miriam, and I were to learn of Judy’s death. I still remember how sweet she was to me as a little girl and still how dear she was when we met up again on St. Patrick’s Day many years ago. What a remarkable, full, albeit shortened, life she led. It sounds as if you have many special memories to cheer you. Our love and prayers go out to you both for your loss. We are thinking of you.
