julius bellaschi
Julius Joseph (“Jules” ) Bellaschi departed this world and joined God on April 22, 2020. He was the devoted husband of Kathryn Diane Bellaschi, loving father of John Bellaschi and Mia Pudoka, and proud grandfather of Katie, Maggie, Emma, JJ, and Maura. Jules earned degrees from Stanford University (B.S. in Industrial Engineering), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.S. in Industrial Management), American University (Ph.D.), and Blackstone School of Law (J.D.) before having rewarding careers in both the private and public sectors. In his book A Journey With Grampy, Jules concluded with these fitting words: “My good friends, goodbye, God bless you, and carry on.” Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the eternal life of Jules at a funeral Mass at Saint Luke Catholic Church in McLean on July 11th (Saturday) at 11:00 a.m.

  2. Jules was so caring and kind, always thought of others before himself. Wish I would’ve known him sooner. My condolences to the Bellaschi family!

  3. Jules will be missed by so many people. He always was a seeker of knowledge and so willing to share what he had learned. He always had an amazing enthusiasm and a kind smile. I am sure he will be watching over us from a heavenly view. God Bless him and his family. Peggy Forbes, his dental hygienist

  4. September 8th 2021 Dear Diane, John and Mia: So very sorry to have (just) read the sad news of Jules’ / your father’s death on April 22nd of last year. It is a long time since we shared time together, in person, but I shall always remember Jules as a very dependable-seeming and kind man at home and a relied on government employee, like John (JDP), at work. Although you will, no doubt, be accepting his death as God’s will, I expect you are missing him a lot, still, so may God continue to bless you with fortitude. With fond memories of you all from long ago, with love and prayers, Margaret (Pearson, and family). “Eternal Rest please give unto Jules, Oh Lord, and May perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.” PS I, too, have some sad news to share, if you would please email me (mphpearsoncompu@aol.com) your current phone contact. Thanks, and do hope this finds you all well
