Sharon, We will miss Karl and our visits to the garage or the wood shop outback to check on the progress of his latest project, doll houses, furniture, and most of all the boat. Karl, I can’t begin to say how much I’ll miss you. I must thank you for your daughter, Shirley; my treasured wife. I thank you for your kindness and wisdom, and for sharing your immense talents. You re-ignited a love for boating in me. You gave me the courage to attempt remodeling projects around the home. You were the best father-in-law one could ask for. You will continue to be in our hearts always. You will always be missed. You are loved. Sharon, please know that you too are loved! Your example of being a loving and supporting spouse is an example to us all, and I will do my best to love my wife as you loved Karl. We will always be family.
