  1. My condolences to the Girard family. Ken was a good friend. He used to tease me that he was my only friend. I worked with him from 1963 until he retired. May you rest in peace my friend. I’ll never forget you. Ed Page

  2. Cynthia, Mark, Sherry, Judd and families, You have my deepest sympathy. Your dad was a peach of a guy. Now he is with the love of his life, but will be greatly missed. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Pam

  3. Was at Kagnew Sta with him. Seen him at the reunion in april . Will miss him and sending Gods Love Larry & Wini

  4. For Kendall’s children and grandchildren: We are so sorry and saddened to know that Kendall has died. We got to know him because Betty Lou was a high school classmate of Melva’s, and we attended the Big Creek high school class reunions together. Kendall soon became an important part of our group and we all will miss him. We know how much he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and he often told us of the groups he traveled with and the pleasure rides he and Betty would take on nice afternoons. He always looked forward to being a part of the Rolling Thunder event. Your dad and mom taught us to play Mexican Train and he was in charge of teaching others to play that game at our 2015 class reunion. We share in your loss and send our most sincere condolences to each of you.

  5. My sincere sympathies to the Girard family. There are quite a few “regulars” at the 7:AM Mass at St. Ambrose. Ken was always already there however early anyone else arrived. With his warm and friendly manner and a pleasant word for everyone he will truly be missed.

  6. Ken was a great friend and faithful member of St. Ambrose’s Parish–a regular attendee at the 7 am daily Mass, often lighting the candles before Mass and the “greeter at the main door” as all left. We will miss his cheerful greetings but know that he is “keeping the door” at a better place now; we look forward to his greeting us again.

  7. I regret that our family did not attend the visitation on Sunday because I misread the time. I had the pleasure to see Ken daily at Mass. His friendly greeting and unassuming manner was reliable and uplifting. He is dearly missed. Our condolences to his beautiful family.
