Ken leaves 7 grandchildren, Chelsea Bailey, Tyler Bailey, Stella Thomas, Madelyn Thomas, Gretchen Thomas, Kira Thomas and Molly Thomas

Ken has one brother, William Thomas (Kathleen Thomas) and one niece, Kelly Thomas.

Ken grew up in Detroit, Michigan. He was the son of Loretta and William Thomas. He attended Lutheran Elementary School and the Detroit Public Schools. He graduated from Wayne State University with honors. Ken was a member of Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity.

Upon graduation from Wayne State University, Ken was employed by Ernst and Ernst, CPA firm. He moved to Oakton, Virginia in 1978 where he worked for the American Institute of CPA's. More recently he worked for Summit Asset Management and had his own tax practice.

Ken was a longtime member of Vienna Presbyterian Church.

Relatives and friends are invited to Ken's Life Celebration at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 West Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Thursday December 8 from 6 to 8p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Vienna Presbyterian Church, 124 Park St. NE Vienna, VA on Friday December 9 at 1:30pm.
