Kenneth M. Thompson of McLean, VA died on Monday, December 28, 2015 at The Virginian in Fairfax, VA. He is the loving husband of 62 years of Minnie Thompson, devoted father of Dana Dunn (Marty), Dona Thompson (Henry Rinne) and Kenneth "Tommy" Thompson (Maria). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Michael (Lillian), Kelsey (Reggie), Tracie (James), T.J. (companion Brittany), Katie, Kenneth, Tyler, Matthew and Noland; Five great grandchildren, Alice, Barrow, Josephine, Naomi and August. Ken was a Northern Virginia Builder and Developer, Navy veteran and graduate of the University of Virginia and brother of the Sigma Nu Fraternity. Relatives and friends are invited to Kenneth's visitation at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Monday, January 4th from 10 am to 11:30 am, and where funeral services will be held on Monday, January 4th at 11:30a.m. Interment will follow at Columbia Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to Hope for Henry Foundation, 2300 Wisconsin Ave. NW, Suite 100 A, Washington, DC 20007.
