RIP
I pen this reflection with a heavy heart, filled with sorrow and grief, yet intertwined with profound faith and hope. I find comfort knowing that you are now at rest in the serene presence of our Lord. I vividly remember the years between 1991 and 1995 when our paths first crossed — the moment you began dating my brother. You were a delightful young woman with cherished curly hair that danced playfully in the breeze. Your love for dancing lit up the room, and your infectious smile always brightened the day.
I can still see my brother rising early in the morning to take you to your job at the Holiday Inn. You approached each day with unwavering determination and an admirable work ethic, tirelessly giving your all even after welcoming each of your beautiful children into the world. Your perseverance and dedication paid off, as you climbed the ladder of success in your career, a testament to your hard work over the years.
You were a beacon of kindness, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who crossed your path. Your generous heart was evident in everything you did, and I am deeply grateful for the times you came to my aid, offering support and encouragement without hesitation. Meeting someone as wonderful as you was a true blessing; your spirit was brimming with energy, generosity, compassion, and humility.
For those of us fortunate enough to know you closely, we witnessed the incredible strength you displayed despite the many challenges you faced throughout your life. Your unwavering faith and hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, along with His infinite mercy and grace, served as your guiding light through dark times. I will forever cherish memories of you driving that white four-door car, your melodious voice captivating us all during those moments you graced us with your singing, and the profound love you had for your children and grandchildren. This is just a few samples of those cherish memories I will hold on dearly about you.
I thank God for intertwining our lives, allowing me to know such an extraordinary person—someone who, despite the odds, embraced life with joy and compassion. You were the embodiment of happiness, radiating warmth and generosity. I will always remember you as a kind-hearted and selfless woman whose inner light illuminated the lives of those around you. Your compassion was boundless, and you consistently put others before yourself, creating a ripple effect of kindness in every corner of your life. Your work ethic was unparalleled, as you devoted yourself fully to everything you undertook, even amidst life’s demands. You maintained an uplifting spirit, inspiring everyone fortunate enough to be in your presence, and your willingness to help others was a true reflection of your beautiful soul. You will be deeply missed by countless friends and family, and the Hernandez family will forever cherish your memory. I will inspire my nephews and nieces with stories of the beautiful mother and grandmother you are. You will continue to live on in our hearts, reminding us to prepare for our reunion with our Lord Jesus Christ and our loved ones who now rest in peace in His presence. No es un adios, es un asta pronto Liela!
I’m already missing you and crying for your family and greater circle of friends & colleagues!!
