Of Vienna, VA on Tuesday January 25, 2011. Beloved husband of 63 years of Nancy; loving father of Bob, Brenda, Barry, and the late Brian; adored grandfather of Robbie, Jesse, Lucy, Tori, Lindsay, Dylan, and Taylor; great-grandfather of Ryli. Lewis was a WWII Navy Veteran, worked for the Government at the National Archives for 40 years and was Vienna Citzen of the Year in 1994.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 711 Spring St. SE, Vienna, VA 22180.

  15. Lewis was a great friend and not that bad of a patient. His sense of humor kept us awake at church board meetings and Nancy was sweet enough to indulge him.Such a genuine loveable character.

  26. Uncle Lewis was wonderful in every way. I so enjoyed summers on the dairy farm in McLean and visits with Uncle Lewis, Aunt Nancy, and all the cousins. He loved life and family. We will miss him.

  28. What a kind and gentle man. The world was a far beter place with him in it. He touched so many lives through his involvemant in the community and the gifts he passed on to his children. And we will miss him.
