  1. I graduated with Linda from Clarke County High School, Berryville, VA. Class of 1960. Linda was always so happy and upbeat. She was a sweet spirited person with a keen sense of humor. She could make you laugh on days when you were feeling down. Linda was so well liked by all our classmates. We shall miss her at our future reunions. She was our notoriously late classmate, but she always made it in time to see everyone. Go Rest High Linda. We will never forget you. Doris Pyne Pendleton Class of 1960

    • Thank you, Ms. Pendleton! It’s so wonderful to read about how beloved she’s always been! She loved seeing you all at the reunions, your friendship meant a great deal to her, and to us as well. We miss her so much – happily she retained her beautiful personality and sense of humor to the very end – we miss her so very much. Thank you again, Jen Kendrick

  2. Anne, my condolences to you and your family. When we were young I recall sitting with your Mother at Vale United church across the street growing up and she said “Our children, what would we do without them!” It was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard and it always stayed with me. Your mother had the sweetest and sunniest disposition! God bless her, she is up in heaven an angel. What a sweet soul. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

    • Thank you so much for this beautiful memory! Anne and I are very lucky to have had such a wonderful mom – she really did have a beautiful disposition – even in the darkest of times, truly amazing. Thank you for your kind thoughts and I wish you many blessings, too. – Jen Kendrick (Anne’s sister)
