  2. Ben, Brian, Mary, and Family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. She will be greatly missed by myself and all lives that she touched. She was a really special person and grandmother. I share your grief and wish things were different. I am here if you need me.

  3. I will miss our talks and e-mail exchanges over issues at the Elks Lodge. My heart goes out to your entire family. You will be missed by so many!

  4. As president of the Kings Park Concert Band, I enjoyed working with Linda on programs at Arlington-Fairfax Elks Lodge. Linda poured her heart and soul into Elks programs, especially those to help veterans. She will be missed by many, many people for her good nature and good works!

  5. Ben and Family, Linda will definitely be missed and I offer my sincere condolences to you all. I always admired the passion that Linda had for the Lodge, the Veterans programs, and children. Ben, the love she felt for you was always evident in all she did. Thank you for sharing her with us.

  6. Linda was such a wonderful, giving person. Her energy and enthusiasm was amazing – always willing to help out with any project or give to anyone in need. Her emceeing of the Elks Veterans program was a pleasure to see – she never spoke from a script, instead she spoke from the heart. Linda, your passion and big heart is already missed. (From your other “bling girl” friend.)

  7. I’ll never forget the excitement and enthusiasm that Linda showed when performing the Elks Ritual. It was a pleasure to serve with and under her. I’ll love & miss you dearly. Laurie

  8. Linda was a loving and caring person. Her dedication to all that the Elks stand for serves as an example for us all. She will be missed but not forgotten. Our prayers go out to her family.

  9. Ben and family, You know how special Linda was to both Peter and me. Her enthusiasm for everything she undertook was contagious. She faithfully worked Bingo for almost 10 years. Her love of our Elks Veterans programs touched many, many lives. She was SO proud of her grandsons Justin and Stevie and I hope they will remember all the wonderful times they had with her and all that she did for others. Barbara

  10. I worked with Linda and Ben for years on the Elks Veterans Committee and can attest to the great love and care she showed our veterans in all she did. She was named Virginia State Veteran Volunteer of the Year this year, and both she and Ben gave their all for our veterans. I saw her go through the Elks ritual chairs and become our Exalted Ruler. Linda, you were a great lady, and we will miss you. We will try and carry on the work you started this year and continue to keep our Lodge strong and honor and help our vetrerans. Honey, you were one of a kind.

  11. Linda and I were high school classmates. We had not seen each other for many years when I sat with her at our 50th high school reunion lunch three years ago. We spent a delightful time together remembering our high school days at Falls church high school.

  12. To Ben and Family, I was proud to have been a member of the Ritual Team with Linda. Her strength and dedication to the team was to be admired. The trip to Phoenix had to have been hard for Linda, considering how she had been feeling for quite some time. She was able to follow through as a leader for her team and did so with great pride. My wife and I are so glad to have known her over the years and hope the best for Ben and her family.

  13. For nearly 10 years I have witnessed Linda’s dedication and immersion in the ELKS Veterans Programs. She was truly a little, smiling human dynamo among the giants. We shall miss her.ART
