  3. I had the great honor to work for such a wonderful, talented, energetic, intellectual person at the Vie de France Corporation during the mid 1980s. He was such an inspiration, knowledgeable, full of ideas and sometimes a father to me. I will never forget those years when we built a failing company to phosphor and became the most popular, profitable bakery caf in the United States. We will miss you greatly, our prayers, thoughts and condolences to the entire Faul family. You has been my role model, inspiration and the spark of my life. You will always have a part in our lives. Cenan Hronn Pulak & Family

  4. I have known Lloyd for many years when he was President of Vie de France french bread. He was one of the finest gentlemen that I have known. I will miss him very much. Ronald Schaaf

  5. I just now heard (Sep 11) of the passing of BG Faul. I had the privilege of serving under then LTC Faul when assigned to the 701st Bn in Vietnam from Sep 67 until Sep 68. I was commander of D company for about seven months and then on the bn staff. He gave me much needed guidance but with room to command and grow. LTC Faul led by example and seemed tireless. My sincere best wishes to his family.

  6. General, I met Tina recently, and she’s a delight. She seems to be doing OK now without her dear pet. It was such a loss for her. Second only to you and her Mom, I guess… Say hi to Col. Joseph Paul Goncz, if you would sir, and my birth father, John Henry Goncz, my mother, Rita Parker Goncz, and Paul’s wife, Rosemarie Goncz. If you can find the time, that is….if you can find the time…. Tina is talking to me about caregivers right now. General, I left M.I.T. under a thesis proposal to Dr. Gian-Carlo Rota which, after 35 years of 100 hour weeks, is ripe for presentation to my patent attorney. If there is any way you could give me a sign, sir, I think I am ready to get back to life with the other Brats. You know what I mean; we are different. And so were you, sir. Different. I wish I had met you living, and hope to meet you soon, next to the Rainbow Bridge, which is where you will find me and Tina, and our pets. See you there.
