Lois retired from Arlington County in 2004, where she worked for many years as a Court Specialist in Arlington Circuit Court Judges’ Chambers. In retirement, she was a devoted grandmother and volunteered for the Virginia Hospital Center Auxiliary.
Lois enjoyed ice skating, swimming, bowling, and golf. In later years, she loved taking long walks in her neighborhood with her dog Lady, and chatting with friends and neighbors. She was known for making special birthday cakes, fabulous holiday dinners, and other sweet treats.
