Louise Pole Foy

Louise Pole Foy, age 101, died peacefully in her sleep on January 19, 2015 at Great Falls Assisted Living in Reston, Va. Louise was born in Philadelphia, Pa., on December 11, 1913. She was married for 54 years to her beloved Clarence "Bud" Foy, who predeceased her in 1993. In 1958, Louise and Bud moved from Philadelphia to Metuchen, New Jersey where she became an active and well-loved member of the Metuchen community for 50 years. Louise was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen, a volunteer at JFK hospital for more than 40 years, a member of the Riding Club, an avid bridge player and a dear friend to all who knew her. Louise is survived by her loving son Allan, her granddaughters, Jennifer Perschino, Sandra Howell, Kristina Morris, Erin Foy-Vian; her grandsons Scott Foy and Brian Foy and 10 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
