Passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Fairfax Nursing Center. Beloved wife of the late Jack Thoensen; devoted mother of Richard (Jean), James (Betty) and Robert (Deborah) Thoensen. Also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandson. The family will receive friends at the Money & King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, Va on Thursday, December 18th from 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 19th at 10:15 AM at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 3700 Old Lee Highway, Fairfax, Va. Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Capital Caring Hospice.

I express my sympathy regarding the passing of your mother/grandmother. She lived to 99, but in my mind, Grandma Lue will always be sitting in a lawn chair at the Fairfax City parade on the 4th of July. Rest in Peace
