M. Louise Major, (nee: Bischoff), age 89, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013 at her home in Vienna, Va. Beloved wife of the late Charles A. Major for 63 years. Mother of Donald W. Major, Richard B. Major and Dennis G. (Peggy) Major, sister of the late Charles H. Bischoff. Also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Contributions may be made in her memory to a preferred charity.

She is remembered by her church friends as a friendly, easy-going, and faithful disciple who was active in the Sunday School and her women’s circle. May she rest in peace.
I will miss our wonderful phone calls. We had so many good talks of the days at Bruen ChapelUMC and her many friends there over many years. She was a wonderful friend and will be missed. My sympathy to her family. Barbara Dunn Hull
We are your neighbors from across the street. It has been a long time for us all. We all knew each other when young and wish to be remembered when we pass on. We remember good times, bad, and those that are in between. While we are sad things must end, we thank God that we have known each other and pray you all will enjoy a good future and many fond memories.
I have many fond memories of sweet Mrs. Major over the years at Bruen Chapel. She was a devoted and caring friend to all who came there. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time.
