Mabel "Rickie" Mueller
May 14, 1930 ~ April 18, 2016
Mabel L. "Rickie" Mueller, age 85, passed away on April 18, 2016. Rickie was born in St. Louis, MO and joined the U.S. Navy in 1951 before being stationed in Hawaii where she met her husband of 30 years, the late Herbert Mueller.
She is survived by her loving children, Kathy (Mike) Thomas, Michael (Elaine) Mueller, Karen Mueller, Susan Mueller, Marilyn (Kevin) Burke, and Mark Mueller; beloved grandchildren, Kelley, Melissa, Chrissy, Julie, Tanya, Nikki, Ashley, Matthew, Emerson, Kenna, and Sheridan; great grandchildren, Ryan, Jackson, Abby, Isabella, Kurt, Allison, Lucas, and Quinn. She was also preceded in death by her great grandson, Ethan.
Rickie was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing at the Mount Vernon Country Club where she was the ladies 9-hole champion of 1975. She devoted her entire life to her family and children and will be missed by all.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 18825 Fuller Heights Road, Triangle, VA 20191 with interment to follow with military honors at Quantico National Cemetery at 2 p.m.
