Margaret M. "Peg" Davis, of Arlington, VA, died on Monday, September 19, 2011 at the Fairfax Nursing Center. She was born in New York City on April 22, 1927. She had a fulfilling career, first overseas with the United Nations, then as a civilian with the U.S. Army. She enjoyed her travels to places such as Italy and Korea.

She was the cherished sister of James J. Davis and his wife Janet, Edinburg, NY, Robert E. Davis and his wife Marion, Sanibel Island, FL, Edna M. Holley, Long Island, NY, and the late Charles H. Davis. Beloved aunt of Robert F. Davis and his wife Karen, James G. Davis, Mary J. Luthin and her husband William, Brian Davis and his wife Anne, Randall Davis and his wife Teresa, Lawrence Davis and his wife Lisa, Allison Levy and her husband Kenneth, Russell Davis, Catherine Pedrazo and her husband Michael, Patricia Rangel and her husband Charles, Frank Davis and Charles Davis. She was also survived by many great-nieces and nephews and life-long friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
