On Monday, April 4, 2011 at the Goodwin House, Alexandria, VA. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Dana F. Gumb; mother of Edwin, Dana Jr., and Irving Gumb. She is also survived by three grandchildren.

Mr. Gumb: I am sorry for the loss of your dear wife. You were truly blessed to have so many years of happiness with such a wonderful lady. I remember seeing her at Vega from time to time and she was always very pleasant and gracious. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Mr. Gumb, I’m so sorry for your loss, Margaret was a sweet person and I know that you have many, many great memories of your years together. I’m sure lots of those memories go back to the Vega days…the best I ever had. I will try to contact you my next visit to VA. Your “old” secretary for many years..

Dear Mr. Gumb; Bless you in this time of mourning. May you find comfort through our Lord. I remember well the way you shared with your dear father after the loss of your mother when you had brought your parents to Virginia to care for them. Mr. Gumb, We wish to offer our condolences on the loss of your wife, Margaret. We knew you from St. John’s and were friends with Ed (he was “Uncle Smitty” to our two girls when they were little). You might remember our parents, Barb & Joe McKinney and Evelyn & Bill Dillon from St. John’s as well. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
