Guestbook

  1. May Jehovah the God of all comfort, comfort your family during this time of sorrow and pain. Death is something that effects us all but the Bible does provide comfort and hope during this time of grief.- John 5:26-30 also John 11:25. May for your family continue to rely on God for comfort and strength. Sorry for your loss. I will pray for your family.

  2. Marion was a dear friend and neighbor for the past twenty-five years. I can see him now, pipe in hand, strolling his lawn. So often he would call over to me and, we would spend a pleasant ten or fifteen minutes solving the world’s problems. I always enjoyed our little conversations. I remember well Marion and Lelon’s golden wedding anniversary celebration. I remember well the White House Christmas tree ornament that he and Lelon gave us. He was always considerate and gracious. He was a true southern gentleman. Our neighborhood is diminished without him. Our sincere condolences go out to Lelon and Kevin. Bud and Lorraine Grace

  3. At this sad time, may it help to know how many hearts are touched by your loss, our thoughts are with you and your family with our deepest sympathy from members of the Mamie Eisenhower Republican Women’s Club.

  4. Marion was my neighbor and dear friend for over 25 years. As fellow civil engineers, we would discuss the many projects that Marion worked on while in the Navy. He developed the steam catapult system for testing A6 and A7 carrier operations at Lakehurst NAS that significantly enhanced our nation’s defense readiness. I was very proud to have Marion as one of my dearest friends. I’ll miss him – his wry humor, bon mots, love of country, concern for his friends and neighbors, and especially his dedication to his beautiful wife, Leland. Anchors aweigh and go with God, my friend.

  5. Please accept my condolences. May God be with you and your entire family at this most somber time. I must say I have fond memories of Mr. Slattery and discussing his days at The Citadel. He was a true gentleman.

  6. Kevin – We extend our sincere sympathy to you and your mother at this very sad time. The loss of a father is profound but the best way to mark his passing is by filling your mind with the wonderful memories you have of happier times. Your dad lived a rewarding life and accomplished much in his lifetime. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

  7. Kevin, Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your father. Remember to take care of yourself too. Vicki
