Devoted mother of Martha Rice, Elizabeth (Dan) Wells, John (Cheryl) Boyd and Margaret Burgreen; sister of Virginia Staats; grandmother of Jennifer Rice, Patrick Boyd and Charles Boyd. Also survived by a large extended family. Memorial services will be held at Vienna Presbyterian Church, 124 Park St., NE, Vienna, VA on Tuesday, December 30 at 11am. Interment National Memorial Park at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Hwy., Annapolis, MD 21401.
