Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Bruce, David, Annette, I am so sorry to hear of Marlene;s passing. Mom called me the other day to let me know of her condition. I know how close Mom and Dad were with her. Please Know that you and your family are in my and Dianes thoughts and prayers. As with the passing of my father, you will always have and remember the good times, the love, and the pride she had for yourselves. Thinking of you. Bill and Diane

  2. Mr. Bearden, Dave and Annette, I was so sorry to learn of your wife and mother’s passing. She was always such a kind and wonderful person, as were you all. I’ve thought of you often over the years. Jane

  3. I am so sorry…………..I should have written this long, long ago. Marlene and I were in the same class at Toronto High School. She was one of my favorite people in the entire school. I read her obituary notice and I said to myself, “That is Marlene to a T”. She was a joy to be around. One day, after school, she invited me to her house and made us a snack of macaroni and butter. It was delicious!! I “fixed her up” with my cousin from New Cumberland one time and I think they spent some time talking and laughing on her front porch a couple of times. It’s funny the things you remember about people. I hope when I pass I can say

“Hi, it’s so good to see you again, my old friend.” I just know her little light will brighten Heaven for all eternity.
