Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. We will always remember his kindness, generosity and energetic spirit. Marty had a natural gift of making anyone who came to his home feel welcome and at ease. He was a great friend to my mother when she needed guidance and strength. When Pags and I went to the Grand Lido last year, Marty contacted his friends who worked there to make sure we were treated like VIPs. When we arrived, the staff knew we were friends of the Einhorns, and thanks to Marty our trip was even more special. He will always be a great friend and neighbor.

  2. When I was trying to buy my house, it was Marty who gave me guidance and strength to stay in the neighborhood. When I found out that I too had cancer, Marty was always there for me- answering my questions and reassuring me that I would get through this. He will always be my very special friend, boat captain, neighbor, and knight in shining armor. No one gave better hugs than Marty. I will miss him very much.

  3. How do we say goodbye to someone as special as Marty? We don’t… We will keep him in our thoughts and wonderful memories for ever. Marty was always there for all of us when we needed something. He and Marjorie were there when I had a crisis when my daughter was sick and when I lost my special friend Claude. He never put his own problems above those of others. He had a wonderful attitude and was truly a resource for anyone who had a crisis, question or needed information. If he didn’t already know the answer, which he usually did, he would get it. He spent his last years enjoying life to the fullest and sharing fun times with his friends. He made great spaghetti. We will all miss him.

  4. Although I knew Marty for only nine years,I have many fond memories of him.He offered to sponser me in order to speed up my green card.Failing that he said, with a huge grin on his face,he would adopt me. Mo and I well remember when he and Marge spent an evening with us and he drank almost a bottle of frangelica because it was his favorite.Marty was in top form that night, making us laugh until we cried. This is how we will remember him,a man who loved life and was generous of spirit, spending as much time as possible with his friends and family and most of all,of course, with his beloved Marge. Our thoughts are with you Marge at this saddest of times.

  5. I was saddened to learn of Marty’s passing. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Theresa Richey(Dr.Robert Evans former dental assistant.)

  6. Sandra and Alexandra Clark express sympathy to the Einhorn family, particularly, Ron, Peggy, Marissa and Michael. We know the Einhorns through Girl Scouts and we are very sorry for your loss!

  7. Nothing that is loved is ever lost… No one who has touched a life, who has brought beauty into the world, is ever truly gone. Sitting in the doctor’s office today with the children, a breeze blew open the newspaper to a page that I rarely turn to, which is how I learned of Marty’s passing. There has always been that something special about the Einhorns. Marty was a wonderfully giving man, whose passing has robbed the world of a one-of-a-kind gentleman who exhibited the warmest, most gracious way. We often think of the Einhorns as being truly blessed for having such a loving and warm partnership and family. We hope those precious memories stay vivid forever. With all of our love, The Fletchers (Mickey, Brian, Caroline, and Brian II)

  8. We were so greatly saddened to learn today that Marty’s personal fight with cancer was over & send you, his family, our deepest sympathy. We have all lost a dear friend who was larger than life & indeed made a room light up, when he entered with open arms. “Say not the struggle nought availeth” Be at peace, Dear Marty.

  9. Marge and Family, It was a pleasure knowing Marty and we are saddened to learn of his death. He was a good person to work with and an excellent host.

  10. Dear Marge, Words can never describe how much we will miss our dear friend of many years. It is hard to imagine that we won’t see Marty. What a character he was…so unique with his laughter and opinions he so willingly shared. There will never be another Marty and Marge we pray for you as we know only too well that you will truly miss him with all your heart. Our dearest condolences to you and to the family. Much love, Tom and Geri

  11. There are never the words to express how truly special someone is. Marty was that kind of person. He will never be forgotten. He was so fortunate to have Marge. My thoughts are often of them and the time we shared together.
