Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. She was so much more than my 4th grade teacher at Stenwood, although she was certainly one of the very best I ever had. I am grateful and honored that she was also my friend.

  2. We are both so sad about Lou’s passing. She brought so much life into everything she did and every life she touched. We will never forget her. Bill, our deepest sympathies go out to you. Love, Marian and Gentry

  3. Mrs Gundrum was more than a teacher for my brothers and I. She was a friend of my parents who often socialized with them after all three of us were long gone from the house. She will be missed

  4. Our sympathy goes out to Lou and Bill’s family and friends. We will cherish all the memories and the fun times we had together and know that Lou touched so many lives. We are glad to have had her in our lives.

  5. Dear Bill and the Gundrum family, My heartfelt condolences for you on the passing of Lou. May the happy memories eventually overshadow the sadness. Love, Pam

  6. My parents lived next door for many years and I hold many precious memories of Lou. She was as beautiful in her youth as she was in her later years. My sincerest sympathy to the Gundrum family and to Bill. Donna Lee Kigar Costanzo

  8. There aren’t words sufficient to express how loved Lou was. EASILY one of the best teachers I ever had. It was fantastic getting back in touch with her and Bill over the last many years! She will indeed be sorely missed as so many have said. A one-of-a-kind lady has passed from our lives. May we all be reunited again! God bless!

  9. Lou was a firecracker. A burst of energy with sparkle and heat, who lit up her surroundings and gave laughter and pleasure to us all. Her beauty, loyalty, warmth, grace and melodious voice remain in our hearts.

  10. Bill, Patty, Billy, Gloria, Aaron and Mary, Lou was always a wonderful friend who could make a dull day, a fun one ! She was lovely, talented, charming, a bundle of energy…such a delight! I will always remember our teaching days together, our dress-up parties, birthday celebrations, St. Patrick’s Day…..all of our special times together. In spirit and in memory she will live on.

  11. My mother was a wonderful grandmother. She had a wonderful sense of humor and reverence for Life. I miss her very much

  12. Mrs. Gundrum was one of the best Moms in the neighborhood. She was always so nice, caring and fun. I have many fond memories of her. Deepest Sympathies to the Gundrum Family and Bill.

  13. I would like to express my sincere condolences for the loss of Mrs. Gundrum. The Bible is a great source of encouragement during times like this. May the “God of all comfort” (2 Corinthians 1:3) comfort you.
