At his residence. Mr. Kettler was a selfless man who forever put his family first, filled with unconditional love and unbreakable strength. He is survived by his loving wife Sue Ann Kettler and devoted children, Daniel Jack and Ashley Ann Kettler. Son of Dorothy M. and the late Col. Jack F. Kettler. Brother of Mark (Pam), Steve, Robert, Christine, and the late Eric and Caroline Kettler.

He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Even then, I knew he was a one-of-a-kind exemplary human being, the kind of person you meet once in a lifetime IF you’re lucky.   16. daddy, <3 i know you wish you didnt have to leave so soon. but you fought your pain and stayed with us as long as God would let you. you loved your family with every fiber in your body and wanted nothing but the absolute BEST for your children. there is NO ONE in this world that will ever compare to the man that you were. you are truly my hero and i still look up to you even though youre gone. i miss the way you could make me laugh, even when i didnt want to. i miss the delicious meals that you would make just out of the fun of it. i miss the way that you treated all my friends like they were your own. i miss how you would take all the spiders or "your friendly friends named 'fred' away from my fright. i miss our weekend visits to i-hop. i miss how youd let me sit on your knee to talk to you. i miss your smile. i miss your jokes. i miss your advice. i miss your laugh. i miss having someone to impress with my good grades. i miss your voice. i miss you so much... i miss you to death. i want nothing more but to have my daddy back, but i know that cant happen. one day though, we will meet again. and i can not WAIT until that day. im staying strong though. with this strength that you left me. i love you entirely too much for words dad.
