Melissa Nan Medley

Melissa N. Medley of Alexandria, VA was born on February 11, 1968, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the daughter of Martha Nan Medley and Larry J. Medley (Col., U.S. Army, Ret.). She departed this life on April 7, 2022, in Fairfax, Virginia.
Melissa graduated from W.T. Woodson High School in 1986 and attended the Westminster Choir College. She earned an A.A.S. in nursing from Northern Virginia Community College, a B.S.N. from George Mason University, and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Mars Hill Graduate School. Her nursing career spanned from medical/surgical, to case management, to finding her true calling in hospice care.
She was an active member of St. Brendan’s in the City, Anglican.
Melissa is survived by her parents, Nan and Larry Medley of Gainesville, Virginia, and Megan Medley of Alexandria, Virginia, extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, her three beloved godchildren, and an army of friends who were like family to her. She loved her people well.
