Mildred J. Housewright, age 86, of Annapolis, Maryland died on Monday, September 7, 2009. Loving & devoted mother of Lana Slocum, Linda Nostheide, Kathy Hodder, & Jim Housewright; mother-in-law of Jerry Slocum, Dan Nostheide, Jim Hodder, & Cathy Housewright. Also survived by nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren & two great-great-grandchildren.

Millie became my very first friend at UFCW when I first arrived here 25 years ago. I will never forget her kind and caring ways toward me. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless Each of You and may your memories brighten the days ahead.
To Kathy and Family: My fondest memory of Millie is when we met on a plane to San Francisco, heading for the Convention in 2003. She wasn’t feeling well and I looked after her. We traveled back to Washington together and she needed oxygen and we both had a scare. About a month later I received a cross necklace from her with a letter thanking me for all I did. She will always be a part of me especially when I wear that cross. May God Bless you and your Family and I know she is at peace. Love BaBette
