  1. I first met Mitch a few years ago when he stopped to help my son after a motorcycle accident. I had passed him from the opposite direction before finding a place to turn around, and by the time I got back to them, Mitch had all but had my son’s bike loaded in his truck and on the way to his shop for repairs. Despite his insistence that he could help, we managed to ride home but I did call him for advice on getting the wheel fixed. Little did I know Mitch was looking for someone to help him in getting his private pilots license at the time, and we managed to work a deal for some instruction while fixing the wheel. He was a man with plans, and he did get his license, and was on his way to adding an instrument rating in hopes of someday instructing. We enjoyed talking about motorcycles, flying, and life in general while eating sushi, one of his many passions. I will miss my friend and hope to meet his family when a celebration of his life is scheduled. Fly high Mitch, the sky is the limit!

  2. Mitch is truly a One of a Kind guy. There will never be another Mitch Buster. He was the most interesting man I knew. You will forever be remembered here at Warriors, Mitch! Mike Conner

  3. Very sorry to read about lsing Mitch. He was a great guy and a friend. While I was in the U.S. with my family from 2003-2008 he helped me upgrade my Harly and we pursued lots of ideas. I was still in touch via WhatsApp. I am very sorry. my thoughts and prayers are with you. Eckart Pech

  4. I just heard of Mitch’s early passing yesterday (5/21). I was wondering why I have not seen him at the hangar for 8 months or more. He was out flying his airplane all the time. He told me how he planned on getting every FAA rating /license available and was going from 0 to 100, from a non flyer to an instructor pilot. What drive. Always so cool to talk with him, friendly and always upbeat. My wife and I miss him. Condolences to Mitch’s family Jonathan Towner
