Of McLean, Va., died on Monday, September 24, 2007 at her residence, beloved wife of Richard I. Lowry, devoted mother of Richard C. (Kathleen D.) Lowry and Debra M. (Steve D.) Krahling, grandmother of Cass B. Lowry, Nick Gagliano and Rachel Lowry. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 124 Park St., SE, Vienna, Va 22180.

Your family is in thoughts and prayers during this difficult time of loss. The many years of being neighbors makes us feel like family and thus losing Riel is a personal loss for our family also. Remember that “Those who live in the hearts of others never die.”
Ron and I were so shocked and saddened to hear about Riel’s passing. She was so much fun and full of life, it is just hard to believe this has happened. Richard and Debbie, she was so proud of you both and of her grandchildren. May you find comfort in your many,wonderful memories.
