Nancy was my godmother and very close friends of my parents, Joe and Pauline Fratantoni. There aren’t many friendships that last decades like these did. I fondly remember bringing my eldest daughter over to Nancy and George’s house for a “girls lunch” with Nancy, Elizabeth and my mom and Elizabeth’s child. We had a lovely, lovely time. It is because of the amazing guidance of women like Nancy that I am able to raise strong daughters. You will be missed! George, my prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. ~Bitsy
My sweet second mama in the world. I never thought you would leave me or any of us. You seem to always out Fox the fox, with this crazy cancer, that tried to hold you hostage last 25 years. You’re always the mom that I would run to when I would get mad at my mama and run down the hill to you. There never seem to be a bad time for you, when I bust through the screen porch door and interrupt whatever you were doing during your day, you always made time for me. A cup of tea and a tuna fish sandwich just seem to fix every problem on the universe for me. Even when I lost my momma you always checked on me and made sure I was OK. It is as if you knew when I wasn’t OK and you would dive deep to find me. Just think Nancy you do not have to look in your closet and talk to the Bunny angel, my mom gave you, rather just jump to cloud two be with her and all your other loved ones. Joseph,Michael, Elizabeth, and George thank you for sharing her with me and so many other people. Nancy and George have always been my “mainstay”. The big house on the big hill. Thank you both for loving me so unconditionally for the last 45 years. Love Jen.
May her memory be eternal! Prayers and condolences.
