Nasser Khodadadian Gostar passed away peacefully at Fairfax Hospital following a massive stroke. He was 78. Nasser was born in Iran the illegitimate son of that country’s most famous prime minister and raised in a wealthy family. He lived in Greece, France and USA during his lifetime. He was a colonel in the Iran army. He was fluent in 10 languages. He was a scholar holding several degrees, was self taught and completed 8 years of medical school. He was an avid reader and writer who wrote beautiful poetry. He was a sharp shooter, black belt holder, who worked for the Drug Enforcement Administration which enabled him to travel the globe. He was also an Olympic-level swimmer and wrestler. He leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Linda, and his little dog Jingles. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington.
