Eden and Doug, I will always have such wonderful memories of your mom/wife. Peggy was a true friend and a fantastic person. Edelman will never be the same. My thoughts are with you,
Peggy will be sorely missed. She was always smiling and greeted you in passing.
Peggy was one of the sweetest and nicest people anyone could ever meet — with her bright red hair and big warm smile which greeted you every day. I may not have known her as long as others, but I will always think of her as a dear friend.
Peggy was always friendly and kind to everyone in the office. She shared her warmth, happiness and joy for life to all, just like a day at the beach. Peggy will be dearly missed.
Doug and Eden, My heart goes to you, thinking of you in these difficult times. Peggy was a joy to be with and a very gracious lady. She will be missed by everyone who knew her and remembered warmly.

I grieve the loss of a truly special person who graced this earth, and our lives, for too short a time. In her presence, we enjoyed many gifts: her warmth, humor, kindness and steadfast friendship. Dearest Peggy, you will live vividly in my memory forever.
Doug and Eden I want you both to know how much I am thinking of you and know how much Peggy will be missed by her family and friends. Fleta Argintar Schreiber
So terribly sorry for your sudden loss. I did not know Peggy or your family. I read about the story in local Outer Banks news. Prayers and thoughts go out to you all.
I have worked with Peggy for most of my adult life, first at the Rushmore Funds in Bethesda, and for the past fifteen years at Edelman Financial. Outside of our vacation time, there hasn’t been a day that we haven’t either seen each other, teased each other, or confided in each other. She was gentle and kind, and always made the days brighter. The days will be dimmer without you. I will always miss you.
At Edelman Peggy always radiated warmth, light & grace. Her friendship was an easy pleasure and will be treasured always. She will be missed dearly, and my thoughts go out to Eden & Doug.
I worked with Peggy for a short time over 10 yrs. ago, but I will always remember her friendly & fun loving manner. My most heartfelt sympathies go out to Doug & Eden. Words cannot express my sorrow for you both at this difficult time.
I am so very sorry for the tragic loss of your mother. Our mothers hold a special part in our heart, and your mom will always be there. I think you are right, being in the place she loved so much was appropriate for her last blessed days with you. Please know that you and your family will be in my prayers. God Bless and keep you close always. Your OBC friend… Liz-WV
Doug and Eden, Julie and I knew Peggy from the Thursday evening Sushi ritual. She brought with her peace, joy, calm and a snarky sense of humor that was so welcome after a hectic day. That’s how we will remember her. Peter

As a fellow EFS Margarita Girl I will miss the birthday celebrations and the just because we need it happy hours after work. Sadly, wed all become so busy at the Edelman office, I didnt see her as much during the work day as I used to. I still look for her every time I turn a corner or walk into the kitchen. I will miss her laugh and the kind words she had to say about most everyone. Doug and Eden, my heart goes out to you both. I cant even begin to understand the void Peggys loss creates in your life. I will be praying for you.
Eden, My thoughts are with you in this difficult time. “Aunt” Laura just informed me today of this sad horrible news. I am in complete disbelief. I too go to the Outer Banks every year, and walk across that same street, in that area, and can’t even imagine this happening. I am so sorry this happened. I can only imagine what a wonderful woman your mother was, since I didn’t get to meet her. I am sure, much like yourself, she was a wonderful woman. Full of love and happiness. Everyone at the Park will be thinking of you tomorrow, and the days ahead. All my Love, Jaime
