Guestbook

  1. Perry was a beloved member of our senior basketball group. I had the privilege of getting to know him somewhat, not only by playing with him on the court at Thomas Farm Community Center, but also during some of her sideline chats. He was friendly, considerate, and most of all, loved the game and the group–I am confident of that. I am certain to be a better person for knowing Perry. He will be sorely missed. I know I speak not only for myself, but for the entire senior group when I say it will be strange not seeing him out there with the rest of us. Surely, he will be there in full spirit. My sincere condolences to Perry’s family. — Jan Ehrman, Gaithersburg

  2. Perry was a very kind and considerate person. I will miss him a lot. My deepest sympathies to his family.

  3. Growing up, Mr. Chin was like a second father to me. He was never without a smile on his face and always asked about me and my family any time I saw him. He will be truly missed.

  4. I am so sadden by the loss of Mr. Chin. Some of my fondest memories of childhood include Mr Chin, his van, and a boat load of kids. He always had a smile on his face, even driving us all over creation for all our social engagements. Sabrina, Mrs Chin, and the rest of the family – my deepest sympathies and love are with you during this incredibly difficult time. Mr Chin will be missed. With Love, Alison

  5. Sharon and I liked Perry and wished we had a chance to know him better. Our prayers and condolences for Wanda and Sabrina. We send our love.

  6. Dearest Wanda, Sabrina, and family, I am so very saddened and shocked about your loss. Perry was always happy, upbeat, positive, friendly, and so full of life. Please know that I am keeping you in my heart and prayers. I am so very sorry.

  7. Wanda and Sabrina, I am at a loss for words. I was extremely surprised to hear about Perry’s death. Please accept my deepest condolences. I am praying for strength and comfort for you at this time.

  8. Wanda and Sabrina I am so very sorry for your loss. My condolences and prayers during this difficult time

  9. Perry always had a ready smile, a sincere concern for others, and a generous spirit that brightened our days at Thomas Farm. I will always remember Perry suggesting I should think of Perry Como, when due to my hearing loss, I called him Terry at first. It became our joke! One day in the parking lot Perry saw a deep scratch on my car and next game brought filler to work some magic on it. Sadly, he will be missed by all of us, his buddies at basketball. My deepest sympathy to his family and may you find comfort in treasured memories. Jack Staines

  10. Sabrina & James, I am so very sorry for your loss. This is a very sad time, but I know that because of who your Father was and the happy life he lived you will find strength from remembering him. I wish you the very best and to your family, I will have you all in my prayers and thoughts. Randy Richmond

  11. Dear Wanda and Sabrina. Words fall so short to express the sorrow felt for you at this time. I admire your family and how you did so many things together and were always there for each other. I hope the love and fond memories you have will bring you comfort in the days ahead.

  12. Wanda, we are very sorry to learn about Perry’s passing. We were impressed by his engaging personality and his active lifestyle stories he shared with us in chats during Sabrina’s and James wedding festivities. Clearly he was very proud of his family! Our thoughts and prayers are with the Chin family. Deepest Regards, Mike and Lida Danyko

  13. Sabrina, My condolences to you and your family. I’m truly sorry for the loss of your father. Please remember all the love and good times that you and your father shared. I know he will live on in our hearts and in our minds. Much love to you and your mom.
