Beloved husband of Sheila Murphy; father of Patrick, Kevin and Maeve; son of Thomas Murphy and the late Nancy Murphy; brother of Cynthia Murphy, Tom Murphy and Michael Murphy; uncle of Hailey, Connor, Julia and Kathryn Murphy; Virginia and Charlotte Royston and Camryn Royston. Friends may call on Wednesday, July 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 to 5 p.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 8610 Wolf Trap Rd., Vienna, VA, where Mass of the Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment private at a later date.
