Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I met the delightful Rae in Fairfax Nursing Center 2009 while she and my husband were in rehab. We became reacquainted at SHM after my huband moved to the memory care floor. We chatted often as she motored about the house, always elegantly dressed and with a welcoming smile. I miss her as do her many friends there.

  2. Rae, you will be missed by all of us “pew buddies.” You were always the first one there and saved us all seats. It was a joy to share these Sundays with you at VPC. We had our own little ministry going! I remember your wonderful laugh and joyful smile. You radiated love and joy to everyone you met. You were loved and you are missed! Elaine

  3. Stephanie, Cindy and Joey: May the memories of your mom warm your hearts throughout the days ahead. She always had a beautiful smile on her face. It was a pleasure to have known her as one of the many “Plum Street Mom’s” who always kept a watchful eye on all us “kids” playing outside! Take care and Gods Blessing on you all. Patty Payne Plum Street Neighbor and Friend

  4. To Rae’s family, Rae was a such a gracious person, always cheerful and upbeat. I became acquainted with her through the Vienna Woman’s Club and worked with her on many projects through the years. She brought pure joy with her beautiful smile. She will be missed.

  5. Rae was the greatest friend to my mom & dad ( Mac and Joanne Cook ). She always had a smile for you and was eager to help out with anything and everything…including our wedding!

  6. You will be missed Rae! You were such a dedicated mother and wife. You lived your life to love and serve your family. You always had time to talk to us, and always so generous with your gifts and cards. I will always remember you with great fondness. I know you are in heaven now, and have rejoined the family there, husband Ralph, sisters Lois and Jean, and all the rest! Your bright smile and youthful looks will live on in my memories!! Love,

  7. Ed’s mother is a resident of Sunrise Assisted Living, and so on our daily visits, we would converse with Rae. She was a truly genteel person. She seemed so content. We will miss her and keep her and family members in our prayers. Ellen Ebbe

  8. I’m so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. I remember her well from the old Vienna neighborhood, and she was such a very sweet lady. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Lauren
