On July 11, 2009, Richard Joseph Allenbach (age 79) passed away at his residence in Vienna, Virginia. Husband of 53 years of Phyllis M. Allenback; father of Dawn (Thomas) Crook, Deborah (Nicholas) Eftimiades & Karen (Douglas) Feiring. Also survived by two brothers, Philip (Sue) Allenbach, Ronald (Francine) Allenback; ten grandchildren, Sean, Kevin, Sophia, Demetra, Tessa, Marguerite, Marissa, Kylie & Parker.

Mrs. Allenbach, Hi – I’m Karen’s roommate from college. I just wanted to give my sympathies and let you know that I remember you and your husband with fond memories. Dear Phyllis – I am saddened to hear of Dick’s passing. Clare Balbi called to inform me. Words of comfort are most difficult to come by at this time. Your years of marriage have been the source of many great memories which I’m certain will provide a level of comfort for you in years to come. I have wonderful memories of you and Dick while in Guyauquil. We did have many fun and memorable times together.
