I met Mr. Sullivan when I became friends with Rick in junior high, 44 years ago. As stated in his obituary, Mr. Sullivan was a wonderful human being, who loved his family immensely. He was so proud of Jim and Rick, and the families that his sons have created.
Dick and Lucille were such an amazing couple, very similar to my own parents, hence why I gravitated toward them. I will miss Mr. Sullivan, and the opportunity to pop in and see him in his recliner with a remote in one hand and a cold beer in the other!
He leaves behind an amazing wife and a legacy that will be around forever. Godspeed Mr. Sullivan, until we meet again.
James, we appreciate your words so much! Dad thought highly of you, and your parents! I believe he recognized the strong sense of family your parents hold and instilled in you and Melissa (and Christine), and as you said that became one of many positive gravitating forces.
