Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Bob grew up on Altamont Blvd. in Spokane WA. I was neighbor to Bob although I was four years older. I had a morning paper route and he became my substitute and helper on that route. He was very dependable and helped me many days on my paper route. When I graduated from high school and went on to college, Bob took over my route and that was the last time I had a conversation with Bob back in 1955. Some 14 years ago I talked to his mother who was a graduate of Grant Grade School where I went, and she told me that Bob was in the military and living on the East Coast. Memories are wonderful and I am very glad to have good memories of Bob Potts. We keep you, his family, in our prayers during these difficult days. Jim Nyborg

  2. It was an honor to know Bob over the last six years. We met when he became a student of mine in meditation in 2007, which was the beginning of a lovely friendship. Coincidentally, two of my children were preschool students of Malisa’s. Our whole family sends heartfelt condolences. I will remember him for his thoughtfulness, generosity of heart and spirit, and dedication to the practice of meditation.

  3. It was an honor to know COL Potts. He raised his children properly and distilled proper values. I was always impressed with his astuteness, his integrity, and his sense of humor. He will be missed. God bless.

  4. Please accept our heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Bob was such a thoughtful grandfather to Justin and Lily. His legacy of love to Malisa and her family will live long into the future. Our thoughts are with you all.

  5. Malisa, Tony, Lily and Justin, Your dad(granddad) and all of your family are in our prayers today and always. We will remember him cheering Lily on at softball and basketball. He always had a kind word for Jenny too! Love you all. Dina, Jeff, Jenny and Matt.

  6. Bob was a devoted meditation and yoga practitioner and will be greatly missed at East Meets West Yoga Center. My deep condolences to Bob’s family.
