Santa, as we affectionally called Bob, also was working for Fairfax County Public Schools for many years as one of our beloved bus drivers. He will be missed so much by the staff at Louise Archer ES and by all the children he brought safely to and from school each day. Rest in peace, my friend. Louise Archer ES has a hole in its heart.
SANTA WILL BE DEEPLEY MISSED BY ALL OF US HERE AT THE MADISON PYRAMID. HE BROUGHT SUCH JOY TO ALL OF US AND THE CHILDREN THAT HE TRANSPORTED DAILY. OUR PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS ARE WITH HIM AND HIS FAMILY.

Shortening pants or sewing a patchs will never be the same. Love You and will Miss you very much
Thank you so much for safely transporting our most precious cargo everyday. They affectionately called you Santa and thought you were the nicest driver. You are truly missed.
We will miss you each morning at the bus stop. Thank you for being a caring and wonderful presence in our children’s lives.
We are so sorry that Santa passed away. He was really nice. I remember in kindergarten how he often gave us candy canes. He was a very nice person and we miss him a lot. We are truly sorry. Elise (8) and TJ (6) Jensen
We were so saddened to learn of Bob’s passing as he was an integral part of our X’mas holiday celebrations every year. Our children, Jennifer and Kimberly, knew Bob affectionately as their Santa that they would share breakfast with, sit for a special photograph with, and eventually confide in him their annual X’mas Wish List – this was an annual tradition with their Great Aunt Freda Burner at Kena Shrine Temple (Preston Burner and Bob were in the Shrine Hillbilly Unit together). Our girl’s also knew Santa as one of their school’s, Louise Archer, bus driver (both girls were Safety Patrols). It is clear to us that Bob brought so much joy into the hearts of many people and he will be truly missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family during this difficult time. In time, may your pain and sorrow fade into beautiful memories of your Bob and our Santa. Our sincere condolences, Peter, Robyn, Jennifer (12) & Kimberly (11) (Nephew-In-Law, Niece and Great Nieces of Freda and Preston Burner)
